Ingredients:
- ¼ cup of cocoa powder
- 1½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Sift together ½ cup of cocoa powder and 1½ cup granulated sugar in a medium bowl. Set aside.
Bring one cup of water to a boil in a small saucepan. While still boiling, carefully add the cocoa-sugar mixture to the water and stir. Keep stirring and let this boil for one minute.
Let the sauce cool slightly, but it should still be very warm. Stir in one teaspoon of vanilla extract. Mix well.
